To all the wonderful women out there who are moms, and to those who act as "second moms" (you know who you are -- hugs!), Happy Mother's Day!
My own mom has been gone for many years now, and I miss her physical presence like fury. But, as weird as this may sound, I have always known that she is with me, guiding me, protecting me, smacking me upside the head when necessary, she's never left me. I love you Mama!
